Hey there, fellow sports enthusiasts and mental health warriors! First things first, let me introduce myself. I’m a licensed clinical social worker based out of Inglewood, CA, nestled near the stadium and the heart of all things sports. With a passion for helping professional and college athletes reach their full potential, I’ve dedicated my career to blending the worlds of mental health and sports.

Now, you might be wondering how I ended up in this exhilarating field. Well, like many working mothers, I’ve had my fair share of challenges and moments of reflection. Balancing a bustling private practice, a family of five, and the curveballs that life throws our way isn’t always easy. The pandemic, coupled with personal losses, prompted me to reassess my priorities and embrace a more balanced approach to life and work.

Through this journey of self-discovery and growth, I’ve become a registered clinician for professional athletes, offering support and guidance to both active players and those navigating life after their college careers. My focus on mental performance coaching has led me to pursue additional certifications, with my sights set on expanding my scope of practice to cater specifically to athletes, even when they’re on the road.

I’m deeply passionate about empowering athletes to thrive both on and off the field, and I’m constantly seeking new ways to enhance their mental resilience and performance. One resource that’s been invaluable in my practice is “The Athlete’s Guide to Mindfulness: An Adult Playbook.” It’s a fantastic workbook that I’ve incorporated into my work with athletes, and I’m always open to exploring new strategies for integrating mindfulness into their training routines.

As for my own athletic background, swimming was my passion in my youth. The feel of the water and the rhythm of my strokes still bring me a sense of peace and tranquility. Now, I find myself working closely with professional swimmers, navigating the unique challenges they face in their sport while providing support to help them achieve their goals.

In closing, I’m thrilled to connect with fellow sports psychotherapists, athletes, and enthusiasts alike. Let’s embark on this journey together, sharing insights, swapping stories, and supporting each other along the way. Here’s to finding balance, pursuing passions, and embracing the exhilarating world of sports psychology!

Nice to meet you all, and I can’t wait to dive into this exciting adventure together!
